Anti-vibration tables for laboratories
A stable, isolated base for analytical and micro balances and other vibration-sensitive instruments.
Overview
Stable readings start with a stable base
Analytical and micro balances measure very small masses. Footsteps, nearby equipment, doors and building movement can disturb their readings and make results slow to settle.
An anti-vibration table separates the weighing surface from those disturbances. Typically, a heavy slab sits on its own supports with damping, inside a separate frame that serves as the working surface, so leaning on the table does not disturb the instrument.
Niya Labs supplies anti-vibration tables as part of laboratory setups, and can supply the analytical and micro balances that sit on them.
- Isolated slab: the instrument rests on a surface that is separate from the working frame.
- Damping: supports that absorb vibration before it reaches the instrument.
- Right position: placed away from doors, heavy traffic and vibrating equipment.
Key features
Designed around the instrument
Isolated weighing surface
The balance sits on a slab supported independently of the outer frame.
Vibration damping
Damping between the slab and its supports reduces transmitted vibration.
Stable working frame
A rigid outer frame gives users a place to rest hands and notebooks without touching the slab.
Planned into the layout
A dedicated weighing position, positioned with the benches and away from sources of vibration.
Paired with balances
Our range includes analytical and micro balances for the same weighing station.
Benefits
What it means for your laboratory
- More stable balance readings
- Less time waiting for readings to settle
- A dedicated, organised weighing station
- Protection for sensitive instruments
Applications
Where it is used
Anywhere precise weighing is part of daily work: QC weighing areas, analytical laboratories and research.
Technical information
Specified for your instrument
Table size, slab material and frame construction depend on the instrument and the room. Tell us which balance or instrument the table is for and where it will stand, and we will recommend a suitable table.

Sensitive balances respond to very small movements. Vibration from footsteps, doors, nearby equipment or the building itself can make readings unstable. An anti-vibration table isolates the balance from much of that disturbance.
Away from doors, busy walkways, air vents, direct sunlight and equipment that vibrates, such as centrifuges or pumps. A corner or a wall position on a solid floor is usually best.
